At the invitation of Annemie Neyts, European liberal democrat party President, the liberal prime ministers Matti Vanhanen (Finland); Andrus Ansip (Estonia); An Taoiseach Brian Cowen (Ireland); together with Siim Kallas (Commissioner for Transport); Guy Verhofstadt (ALDE group leader) and Neelie Kroes (Commissioner for Digital Agenda) will gather at pre EU summit meeting in Brussels.

Topics on the agenda include: EU2020 strategy for growth and employment; the competences of the External Action Service and an exchange of views on the current financial situation.
